We're looking for a full-time and casual (one of each) Reception Team Member, someone who is savvy and considerate - who takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. Working with the Front Office Team, you'll be part of a team driven to succeed, rolling up your sleeves and working side by side with all the departments. You'll contribute to the service and quality of Student One, ensuring we live up to our reputation as Brisbane's Smartest Student Accommodation.
Key focus area:
- Work within a dynamic team, contributing to the day to day running of the Student One on Adelaide Street, Wharf Street and Elizabeth Street residence while working to achieve the occupancy and financial targets of the business.
- Assist with the residential contracting process.
- Respond to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the incoming mail and parcels procedure.
- Assist with the contractor management process (providing keys, assist with sign in process and provide list of jobs for the day).
- Contribute to the effective sales and marketing functions of Student One and its residences via site tours and discussing current offerings with potential customers.
- Assist with the effective coordination of the resident's experience service level expectations and welfare requirements.
Student One, Brisbane's Smartest Student Accommodation provider opened in 2016 and has been providing a smart accommodation choice in the Brisbane CBD for students ever since.

The successful candidates should also possess:
- A passion to work with a customer focused environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and a core understanding in StarRez or equivalent property management system or hotel reservation system.
- A passion for student welfare and safety.
- A current Queensland Government issued Blue Card allowing them to work with students (this can be obtained at the commencement of role).
- Proficient in conflict management.
- At least 2 years work experience in a customer focused role
