The Brisbane Lions have joined forces with TAFE Queensland to create the Brisbane Lions Institute of Business & Sport. The Institute provides school leavers with the opportunity to earn the dual Diploma of Leadership and Management and Diploma of Sport while gaining real life experience in the industry.

The Lions Institute are currently on the hunt for an administration superstar to for the role of Student Experience Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for students engaged in the program, through a smooth recruitment and enrolment process and high quality of work integrated learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Integrated Learning: Coordination of student Work Integrated Learning activities, including acting as the key contact for students in placement, rostering, monitoring placement hours, providing general guidance to students and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to secure suitable placements.
  • Student Recruitment and Admissions: Support recruitment activities such as information sessions, school visits, interviews and application processing.
  • Student Administration Support: Coordinate enrolment, orientation processes, management of student records and database, maintain confidentiality and prepare materials and facilities for classes.
  • Program Coordination and Logistics: As directed, coordinate logistics of student placement such as scheduling and tracking attendance, communication regularly with students and manage resources needed for placement.
  • Event and Activity Support: Provide administrative support with organising student events, networking session and program celebrations.
  • Reporting and Improvements: Work with the Education Program Manager to streamline processes and improve administrative efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma level qualifications in Business Administration, Education, Sports Management or related disciplines
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within education, training or sports management
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Current working with Children Check (including Blue Card)

This role will be required for occasional after-hours and weekend work during peak recruitment and match days.
