The Role
Deliver high-quality design solutions for high voltage electrical systems, providing technical advice and contributing to the development of standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and review high voltage designs in accordance with Australian and IEC standards.
- Complete detailed design calculations including short circuit forces, conductor sizing, lighting and lightning protection studies.
- Investigate and implement innovative design solutions to meet project needs.
Requirements
Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in high voltage design across all functional areas of transmission network substations.
Specialized expertise in a range of technical processes and procedures related to substation design.
Skilled in completing and reviewing project designs in collaboration with external consultants.
