The role of Intermediate Design Engineer is pivotal in delivering high-quality design solutions for high voltage electrical systems.
This is a compelling opportunity to contribute to the development of standards and provide technical guidance, all aligned with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and review high voltage systems in accordance with Australian and IEC standards, as well as technical requirements.
- Perform detailed design calculations including short circuit forces, conductor sizing, lightning protection studies and more.
- Explore and implement innovative design solutions to meet project needs.
- Review external designs to ensure quality and compliance.
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in high voltage design across transmission network substations.
- Specialised expertise in technical processes and procedures related to substation design.
- Skilled in completing and reviewing project designs with external consultants.
- Proficient in engineering business systems and design software.
