Electrical Design Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our Primary Engineering Team at our Adelaide office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality design artefacts, technical documentation, and other tasks in line with project plans and standards.

You will work on innovative high-voltage infrastructure projects for the National Electricity Grid, including substations, grid connections, and battery storage. Your role involves supporting project design and construction while ensuring high-quality results that meet standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and implement design information from Engineers and Managers
  • Experience producing CAD drawings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with client standards prior to manufacturing/construction
  • Previous experience in substation design is required
  • Tertiary studies are highly regarded
