About the Role

This sales role will be based in Sydney, Australia, serving top-tier decision-makers, driving sales growth, and influencing our service and product development as a Market Specialist in Commodities Sales.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will harness your extensive market experience, trend awareness, and technical prowess to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
  • As a consultative advisor, you will address client challenges with innovative solutions.
  • You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and its implications for our clients and services.
  • Influencing product direction with thought leadership and innovative ideas, you will foster relationships between key decision-makers and our clientele.
  • You will craft and execute a strategic roadmap aligned with market insights, product objectives, and organisational goals, while self-monitoring progress and outcomes.
  • Engage actively in projects that propel departmental and organisational objectives.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in Financial Services or FinTech.
  • A minimum of 5 years in commodities sales, trading, or research.
  • Proven track record of leading high-level client discussions within the last 5 years.
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills for credible client interactions and solution promotion.
  • Business acumen for informed decision-making and tangible commercial impact.
  • Collaborative and business-minded, capable of contributing to both team and company-wide projects in a flat organisational structure.
  • Availability for regular travel within Australia and New Zealand.
  • Proficient presentation, training, and communication skills in English.
  • Evidence of consistent professional advancement within an organisation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
