As a Market Specialist in Commodities Sales, you will be part of our Sales division, leveraging your expertise to provide innovative solutions to top-tier decision-makers. Your role will involve consulting with clients, aiding in sales deal closure, and offering valuable insights that influence service and product development. You will represent Firesoft People at industry events and through various media, embodying the essence of our brand.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- You will harness your extensive market experience, trend awareness, and technical prowess to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
- You will serve as a consultative advisor to clients, addressing their challenges with our innovative solutions.
- You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and its implications for our clients and services.
- You will influence product direction with your thought leadership and innovative ideas, fostering relationships between key decision-makers and our clientele.
- You will craft and execute a strategic roadmap aligned with market insights, product objectives, and organisational goals, while self-monitoring progress and outcomes.
- You will engage actively in projects that propel departmental and organizational objectives.
- You will explore and initiate additional avenues for impact, such as mentorship, training, campaign management, and product development participation.
Requirements:
- You must have at least 7 years of experience in Financial Services or FinTech.
- You must have a minimum of 5 years in commodities sales, trading, or research.
- You must have a proven track record of leading high-level client discussions within the last 5 years.
- You must be able to articulate complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
- You must have exceptional communication skills for credible client interactions and solution promotion.
- You must have business acumen for informed decision-making and tangible commercial impact.
- You must be collaborative and business-minded, capable of contributing to both team and company-wide projects in a flat organisational structure.
- You must be available for regular travel within Australia and New Zealand.
- You must be proficient in presentation, training, and communication skills in English.
- You must demonstrate consistent professional advancement within an organisation.
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
