We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industrial relations professional to provide expert advice and support to our Business Partnering team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial relations, employment law, and human resources, with experience in managing complex employee relations matters across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist industrial relations advice and support to the Business Partnering team;
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian legislation and promoting a commercially sustainable organisation;
  • Representing the organisation as required with industrial organisations, including the Fair Work Commission and other bodies;
  • Assisting with enterprise bargaining, advocacy, and negotiations with unions and other external bodies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong tertiary qualification in industrial relations, employment law, human resources, or a related field;
  • Significant experience in a senior industrial relations position, leading complex change;
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills;
  • Highly developed knowledge of Federal and State employment legislation.
