We're seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR matters, ensuring that our business remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
As a key member of our People Services team, you will play a critical part in delivering a high-quality employee experience, from recruitment to separation. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of employment law, allowing us to focus on what really matters - supporting our employees and driving business success.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a proven track record of providing quality people advice and solutions within tight timeframes. You should also have a deep understanding of current employment laws, workplace legislation, and regulations, as well as contemporary human resource practices, policies, and trends.
About the Role:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters to leaders and managers across the organization
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Fair Work Act
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives
- Maintain accurate records and reports, using data to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of HR services
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve processes and outcomes
About You:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a HR generalist role within a heavily regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience understanding and interpreting the Fair Work Act
- Sound knowledge of current employment laws, workplace legislation, and regulations as well as contemporary human resource practices, policies, and trends
