Human Resources Administrator Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to provide professional support and guidance to staff members while fostering a positive working environment. Key responsibilities include offering entry-level guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining policies, handbooks, and procedures;
  • Coordinating the performance review process;
  • Maintaining personnel records, updating job descriptions, and employment contracts;
  • Responding to day-to-day inquiries;
  • Maintaining confidential data with discretion;
  • Sourcing training providers and providing administrative support for the Training & Development process;
  • Inducting new staff members at the facility;
  • Providing administrative support for the WH&S function.
Requirements
  • A clear, concise, and accurate communication style in both verbal and written forms;
  • A friendly and confident approach;
  • Attention to detail and prioritization skills;
  • Continued knowledge acquisition in HR best practices;
  • Ensuring the client's interests are met while providing support and advice on staff matters;
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or experience in a similar position.
