We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Specialist. This role will focus on driving the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in ANZ's largest and most innovative companies.

As a Sales Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic business development plans, partner with account and channel teams to define key market segments, and drive necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping to define market segments, customer base, data use-cases and industry verticals we target within ANZ
  • Contributing to the strategic business development plan to execute for target markets in line with the ANZ, Regional, and Global strategic direction
  • Executing the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders
  • Identifying specific prospects/partners to approach and communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case

Requirements include 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives, and experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of engaging with C-Suite contacts in customers, communicating and presenting with impact towards agreed project outcomes, and experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account.
