About the Role

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a medical qualification registrable in New South Wales, specialist training in a surgical discipline and have a fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or equivalent.

A higher degree in a relevant discipline area is desirable as is an outstanding research record.

Demonstrated capacity to successfully lead and manage complex organisational change in clinical, research and education settings is essential.

Clinical subspecialty knowledge and expertise which complements and extends current clinical services available in Surgery is also required.
