Senior Surgical Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated specialist to lead our surgical department at a state-of-the-art facility offering comprehensive veterinary services.

About Us

The facility provides a collaborative environment with top-tier equipment including Synthes and Orthomed plating, E-Pen Neuro Burr, Biomedtrix THR systems, and I-Loc Interlocking Nail System. As part of a network of veterinary professionals, you'll join a community committed to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the strategic roadmap for the surgical department
  • Manage surgical caseloads and oversee the surgical team
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure optimal patient care
  • Mentor and guide interns and team members
  • Perform orthopaedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and emergency surgeries as needed
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and uphold core values
Candidate Requirements
  • Diplomate status in Small Animal Surgery (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS)
  • Eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Board Council
  • Team-oriented with a passion for high-quality patient care
