**About the Role**

The Victorian Institute of Technology is a dual sector education provider dedicated to offering students exceptional educational opportunities and outcomes.

We deliver a range of courses, including Business, English, Hospitality, and Information Technology, to domestic and international students at our Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Geelong campuses.

The successful candidate will provide leadership for the Business discipline, overseeing the Bachelor and Master of Business courses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction for the Business discipline
  • Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Supervising and coordinating courses across multiple campuses
  • Delivering higher education courses (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)
  • Supporting senior leaders in implementing an academic scholarship culture

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Leadership and Management: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership position
  • Teaching: Demonstrated experience and knowledge of technical requirements relevant to curriculum planning and content delivery
  • External Relationships and Partnerships: Experience working collaboratively with partner organizations and industry
  • Personal Attributes and Qualifications: An AQF 10 (doctoral) qualification or equivalent blend of qualification and experience
