Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer
">The role of the Accounts Payable Officer is pivotal in ensuring the precise and efficient recording of business expenses for our Australia and New Zealand operations.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Distribution of tax invoices to respective departments for approval.
- Coding of invoices to relevant General Ledger (GL) codes.
- Paying invoices within stipulated due terms.
- Verification and processing of employee expense claims.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Investigating and resolving issues related to invoice processing and payment.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement in Accounts Payable.
- Managing and responding to internal and external queries.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
">- Prior experience in Accounts Payable with basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Able to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
">- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (AX) and Esker Software is highly regarded.
