Business Analyst with Healthcare Domain

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Hackensack, NJ. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical electronic information systems, data extraction, and reporting. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in clinical electronic information systems for data extraction and reporting.
  • Interpret business data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Intelligence and IT teams, as well as subject matter experts, to define reporting solutions.
  • Facilitate project groups in developing survey tools, metrics, dashboards, reports, and oncology monitoring plans with an analytical and statistical focus.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, including Epic EHR.
  • Present business analyses to non-analytical audiences, such as administrators and clinicians.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong knowledge of EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, NextGen, etc.).
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA, X12, etc.).
  • Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling, workflow diagrams, and system analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
