About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stores Supervisor to join our team at Alliance Airlines. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the Stores function, ensuring that all inventory is accurately managed and that our supply chain is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Develop and monitor provisioning processes to meet upcoming requirements, ensuring that all necessary materials are available when needed.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain effective relationships with vendors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that our supply chain is running efficiently.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports as required by the Stores and Logistics Manager, providing accurate and timely information on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and other key metrics.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and oversee the performance of Store persons, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that all team members are working effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety responsibilities of workers are effectively communicated, and that all necessary procedures are in place to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Training and Development: Ensure that all workers are trained in and follow policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, and that all necessary training is provided to ensure that workers have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulated industry such as aviation.
  • Qualifications: Supply chain or logistics certification is desirable, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
