Job Summary:
Alliance Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stores Supervisor to join our team at our Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance facility. As a Stores Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the Stores function, developing and monitoring provisioning processes, and maintaining effective relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor the performance of the Stores function, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and monitor provisioning processes to meet upcoming requirements, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available when needed.
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that vendors are providing high-quality products and services.
- Monitor supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Prepare reports as required by the Stores and Logistics Manager, providing detailed information on inventory levels, vendor performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Manage and oversee the performance of Store persons, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that all employees are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure that health and safety responsibilities of workers are effectively communicated, and that all employees are trained in and follow policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
- Ensure that safe work procedures are developed and regularly reviewed for high-risk tasks, and that all employees are aware of and follow these procedures.
- Driver's license and forklift license (LF) are required for this role.
- Supply chain or logistics certification is desirable, but not required.
- Management experience in a regulated industry such as aviation is preferred but not required.
