About the Role

This position plays a vital role in supporting the APAC People Resource Department, indirectly leading a team of 60+ skilled resources. Key responsibilities include maintaining team safety, performance and productivity; developing strategies for future business needs; leading the resource team; liaising with internal stakeholders; mentoring team leaders; ensuring compliance with standards, processes and procedures; managing financial activities; and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Business in maintaining team safety, performance and productivity.
  • Develop strategies for future business needs, focusing on cost-effective resource solutions.
  • Lead the resource team, building, developing and maintaining their skills and expertise.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and build strong relationships with key personnel.
  • Mentor team leaders and build succession in line with agreed strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas standards, processes and procedures, as well as regional/country laws and regulations.
  • Manage financial activities and record/report them with high accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement through your team.
Requirements
  • A technical or relevant degree, and/or proven management experience within the wind industry or similar environment (3-5 years).
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing teams to meet business demand.
  • Strong technical understanding/knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • A safety and compliance mindset.
  • The ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • An intermediate user of MS Office, ERP (SAP) and exposure to Service specific software programs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
