Job description Employment Type : Part-time (0.6 FTE)Remuneration : SCHADS Level 5 Location : Northern Melbourne Suburbs, Hybrid Reports To : Corporate Services Manager About Us Georgina Martina Inc.
(GMI) is a community-based organisation committed to supporting individuals affected by family violence through case management and accommodation including high-security refuges.
We embrace an intersectional feminist, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach to service delivery, ensuring respectful and empathetic support for victim-survivors.
Role Overview We are seeking a Human Resource Lead to deliver comprehensive HR services across GMI.
Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, performance appraisals, training, and policy development and implementation.
You will work closely with the Corporate Services Manager to align HR practices with our values and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities Manage the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding and exit Provide HR support, working with staff and management to address issues with sensitivity and confidentiality Assist in performance management and development of training programs.
Develop, Implement and monitor HR policies, ensuring legal compliance.
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports.
Key Selection Criteria Relevant HR qualification preferred (e.g., Certificate IV in Human Resources).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law and enterprise agreements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work independently and in a team.
