The role of a Business Development Manager - Partnerships & Growth is to drive the growth of an insurance operation within a business through strategic thinking, relationship building, and market analysis.
- Research and identify new business opportunities including potential clients, partnerships and market segments.
- Develop and recommend long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage the planning, execution and monitoring of strategic projects.
- Lead negotiations to establish beneficial arrangements for the business.
Demonstrated success in a similar position within an insurance business. A deep understanding of insurance products and their features. A proven track record in sales within the insurance sector, with measurable results. Experience in developing and executing business development strategies to drive growth. Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills. Exceptional communications and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation.
