Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing new enterprise logos.

  • Research and understand customers and prospects to gain insight into their business challenges and Proxymity value proposition.
  • Influence and drive the sales process while managing through multi-layer stakeholders in organisations.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methodologies, techniques and evaluation criteria throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure customer success.
  • Rapidly learn investor communications and the Proxymity model.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of new business sales experience.
  • Deeply rooted drive to win.
  • Sales Achiever. Can demonstrate past over achievement (quota, revenue goals, Salesperson of the Year, etc) selling SaaS solutions.
  • Know the art of complex SaaS sales cycles with demonstrated ownership of territory and account management including cross-selling and upselling.
  • Growth mindset you seek out feedback and development to become a better seller today than you were yesterday.
  • You follow a validated solution-selling methodology such as MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.
  • Working in a sales role in financial service or experience selling into the financial services vertical is an advantage.
