Job Overview

MDAS seeks an experienced professional to oversee quality, compliance, and risk management frameworks.

This pivotal role ensures the organisation meets legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements while driving a culture of accountability, client safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality and governance systems and processes.
  • Manage compliance and coordinate enterprise risk management activities.
  • Oversee records and information governance, including responses to information requests.
  • Manage the Client Incident Management System (CIMS) in line with Department of Families, Fairness, and Housing (DFFH) requirements, including timely reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
  • Promote organisational learning and service excellence through strong quality and governance practices.
Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, governance or risk management within a complex organisation.
  • Ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate with key stakeholders in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to lead systems and processes that drive accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to communicate, consult, liaise, and negotiate with a broad range of people, both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal, at all levels to achieve program objectives and goals.
Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications related to the position, such as Diploma of Quality Auditing and Business Compliance, and/or extensive relevant experience working in quality and compliance business areas.

  • National Police Check.
