Our client is a forward-thinking global corporate and wealth services firm with a strong reputation in the industry. Due to continuous growth in Australia, we are looking to add a skilled company secretarial professional to our team.

YOUR NEW ROLE

As an integral member of the Australian Corporate Secretariat team, you will report directly to the Senior Corporate Secretariat Manager. You will take charge of your own client portfolio and enjoy the vibrant diversity of providing company secretarial, corporate governance, and compliance services to prestigious multinational corporations, including:

  • Client Engagement - Onboarding new clients, ensuring compliance through the collection and review of KYC documentation, addressing client inquiries, participating in client meetings as necessary, and fostering strong relationships through regular communication;
  • Hands-on involvement in all company secretarial activities - preparing essential documents (e.g., meeting minutes, resolutions), maintaining statutory records, managing ASIC/Companies Office lodgements, and overseeing the incorporation and deregistration of companies, as well as trust formation and termination;
  • Ensuring compliance with the Corporations Act and other relevant regulations.

WHO YOU ARE

We welcome applications from candidates who:

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar company secretarial, corporate governance, or compliance role, preferably within a professional services firm (e.g., law firm, accounting firm, corporate services firm) serving external corporate clients;
  • Have a solid understanding of the Corporations Act 2001 and ASIC/company operational/reporting requirements;
  • Demonstrate high accuracy, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a results-driven mindset;
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, client service, and time management skills;
