Work Health Safety Leader Position

This role is responsible for managing and implementing a Work Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Program across multiple locations.

The position involves frequent travel within a metropolitan region as well as some travel to surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be based at one of several office locations.

About the Role
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with policy, guidelines, and legislation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop priorities for the team.
  • Lead awareness initiatives and contribute to the development of wellness programs based on data and risk.
  • Assist in the evolution and promotion of benefits for employees.
  • Implement new initiatives and practices to engage team and manager participation.
  • Drive high performance teams that achieve outstanding results.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a Work Health Safety role, ideally 3-5 years.
  • Understanding of wellbeing initiatives and their impact on employee engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and auditing processes.
  • Experience managing complex challenges and developing solutions to improve health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
