Land Management Specialist

This role is about working together to maintain our training areas, ensuring they are safe, secure, and operational.

As a Land Management Specialist, you will be responsible for caring for and managing the land, including grass cutting, tree removal, weed control, and pest management.

Additionally, you will support emergency response activities, including firefighting when needed, and operate and maintain portable target systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Caring for and managing the land to ensure it remains safe and secure.
  • Supporting emergency response activities, including firefighting.
  • Operating and maintaining portable target systems.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll bring some of the following skills and qualifications:

  • A light vehicle licence (HR Truck licence or Backhoe licence would be great).
  • Bush firefighting qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Map reading and navigation skills.
  • Senior First Aid certificate (or ability to gain one).
  • Clear communication skills and basic computer skills.
