About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Child Protection Advocate. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable children and their families.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills, with experience in conducting complex assessments and providing consultation and support related to child protection practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality clinical care to children, including conducting psychosocial assessments and developing innovative strategies for complex patient cases.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to enhance our child protection response.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development of new programs and services to improve outcomes for patients who have experienced trauma.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of the impacts of violence, abuse, and neglect on individuals, families, and communities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience delivering culturally appropriate and competent services.
