Our team is seeking a permanent, full-time Permanency Support Specialist to join us at our new, purpose-built, family-focused space.

As a specialist, you will work across the child protection spectrum, including family preservation, permanency support, restoration, and adoption.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  • A commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with disabilities.
  • A degree in social work, psychology, social sciences/social welfare, or equivalent, or be working towards one.
  • Understanding of issues facing vulnerable children and their families.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective community networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of EEO, Work Health and Safety, cultural issues, and the NSW Child Protection system.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance, NSW Working with Children Check, ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card, and NDIS Worker Clearance.
