Job Title: Aboriginal Child Protection Advocate

Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker to join our team. As a caseworker, you will work with families and communities to provide support and protection to vulnerable children.

You will be responsible for conducting home visits, assessing safety concerns, developing safety plans, and collaborating with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with families and communities to identify and address safety concerns
  • Develop and implement safety plans to protect children from harm
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure coordination of services and support
  • Provide case management and support to families and individuals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Relevant diploma or degree qualification in social work, human services, or a related field

At least 2 years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
