About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercial Payroll professional to join our energetic and collaborative team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of wages in accordance with statutory legislation, relevant industrial agreements, company policies and procedures, and other contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare assigned payroll on time and in an accurate manner.
  • Process all employee movements, including details for new employees, terminations, and transfers.
  • Calculate and administer entitlements under various Awards and Industrial Instruments.
  • Prepare and pay payroll tax, superannuation, and other legislative payments.
  • Demonstrate commitment to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You

We are looking for an individual with extensive years of payroll experience within a complex and high-volume environment, with proven time management skills. You will have the ability to deliver an end-to-end payroll process, with prior working knowledge of Chris21 being desirable. You will also possess proactive skills to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues, as well as strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.

You will have a robust understanding and ability to interpret and apply superannuation, payroll tax, payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise bargaining agreements. Additionally, you will demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and perform with integrity, as well as strong customer service skills to interact with employees at all levels.
