Claims Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Management Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time role. As a Claims Management Officer, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of motor claims, identifying recovery and settlement opportunities, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of motor claims, ensuring effective and efficient recovery and settlement strategies are applied.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, insurers, and other parties, to resolve claims and negotiate settlements.
- Make and defend indemnity and liability decisions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including the General Insurance Code of Practice and the Insurance Contracts Act.
- Constructively manage negotiations to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in claims management, debt recovery, or a related field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong people skills and a proven ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous experience in claims management, debt recovery, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities and drive own performance.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
