About the RoleThe Senior Payroll Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing payroll with precision and meeting deadlines
- Maintaining and updating payroll records with accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with superannuation, PAYG, STP, and other deductions
- Calculating and preparing termination pays with attention to detail
- Responding to payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Completing tasks arising from allocated tickets with efficiency
- Assisting with reporting and providing insights to support business decisions
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and regulations
- High-level attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- NDIS Worker Clearance and a Blue Card, or a willingness to obtain these at your own cost
- A 76-hour fortnight, worked over 9 or 10 days, providing a healthy work-life balance
- A salary equivalent to $92,000 plus super, when using salary packaging benefits
- Paid overtime, recognizing the value of your hard work and dedication
- Free on-site parking, making your daily commute easier and more convenient
- A handy Eight Mile Plains location, providing easy access to public transportation and amenities
- A start time between 7:30am and 8:30am daily, allowing for a smooth transition into work
- Two days of work-from-home per week, after probation, providing flexibility and work-life balance
