Operations Administration Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Administration Officer to join our Banking Operations team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations, managing deposit and payment streams, account maintenance, card scheme administration, and physical storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake day-to-day customer-impacting processing for membership administration
- Handle processing-related enquiries and follow up issues through to completion
- Analyse and recommend a course of action for member disputes
- Investigate issues relating to payment processing and escalate to IT/Vendors as appropriate
- Reconcile various General Ledger accounts and investigate unbalanced accounts to resolution
- Rate of pay at commencement is $29.02 per hour plus super
About You
We are looking for someone who is an astute communicator – both written and verbally, as you will be a go-to within the operational bank team. You will ideally be familiar with large organisations and can work efficiently within a changing environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in financial services, in a processing environment
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyse and communicate written and verbal information
- Dedicated work ethic, with exceptional attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry skills, while thriving in a fast-paced, structured environment
