Role OverviewThe primary objective of this position is to oversee a portfolio of claims while delivering exceptional claims management services aimed at achieving optimal return-to-work outcomes, all while adhering to established service standards and compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Upholding customer service excellence and taking ownership of resolving issues and complaints promptly.
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring they are engaged in the claims management process and kept informed of all significant developments.
- Proactively managing claims with a focus on strategic collaboration and effective case management, identifying barriers to return-to-work and implementing solutions to enhance health outcomes.
- Collaborating with the Team Manager and specialists to provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Contributing to the achievement of business objectives and participating in departmental initiatives as required.
- Proven experience in a claims or customer service role, preferably within the insurance sector or with knowledge of allied health fields such as rehabilitation or occupational therapy.
- Demonstrated passion and capability to deliver high-quality services and foster positive customer experiences.
- Proficient in utilizing systems, software, databases, and communication tools effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands efficiently.
- Skilled in recognizing and addressing conflicts to facilitate effective and timely resolutions in line with organizational procedures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying information clearly and persuasively.
