Role OverviewThe primary objective of this position is to oversee a portfolio of claims, delivering exceptional claims management services aimed at achieving optimal return-to-work outcomes while complying with service standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high customer service standards and take ownership of resolving issues and complaints promptly.
- Ensure regular communication with clients and stakeholders, keeping them informed throughout the claims management process and aware of their responsibilities.
- Proactively manage claims with a focus on strategic collaboration and effective case management, identifying and addressing barriers to return-to-work and health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Team Manager and specialists to provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Contribute to achieving business objectives and participate in departmental initiatives as required.
- Experience in a claims or customer service role, preferably within the insurance sector, with knowledge of allied health practices.
- Demonstrated passion and capability to deliver high-quality services and positive client experiences.
- Proven technical proficiency with various systems, software, databases, and communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
- Ability to identify, manage, and escalate conflicts to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
