Our team delivers services to the Fund and its Agencies through Executive account stewardship by the Senior Management Team and proactive management of claims, facilitated by our in-house Claims Management Team.

JLT is seeking a Claims Administrator to join our growing Workers Compensation team based in Hobart on a full-time permanent basis.

What can you expect?

The purpose of this role is to perform all administrative functions required in the claims process for all workers compensation claims, ensuring you deliver positive outcomes for the client and in line with the business objectives and agreed performance indicators. This would include:

Data entry. Claims lodgement. Claims payments including follow ups on invoices. Claims finalisation and file closures. Other administration duties as required to service the fund.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Claims Payments. Medical certificate recording. Responsiveness to queries. Quality Assurance. Service Level Agreements. Workers Compensation Claim Processes. Assisting Claim Consultant.

What you need to have:

Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience in administration/data entry. The ability to work in a small team environment. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, displaying the ability to communicate with empathy, integrity and tact. Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise important tasks. Superior computer literacy.

What makes you stand out:

Knowledge of Workers Compensation Act – Tasmania. Knowledge of Workers Compensation Claims Handling. (desirable but not essential).
