Technical Solutions Expert

We develop strategic connections between technology, people, and businesses to address complex challenges.

Our team plays a key role in delivering innovative solutions for clients worldwide by leveraging cutting-edge platforms for pricing, execution, and control over millions of transactions.

As part of the team, you will collaborate with technical experts to design, develop, and support pricing and execution services for the firm and its clients.

  • Risk management of a fast-paced electronic trading business
  • Analysis focused on creating sustainable systems and services that meet uptime and performance requirements through automation
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings in support processes and physical environments
  • Collaborating with software and infrastructure owners to resolve hardware/network issues
  • Incident and crisis management
  • Significant interaction across Futures front office
  • Participation in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

Candidates must possess technical and analytical skills required to triage and resolve complex production issues and operate effectively in a high-pressure environment. A propensity to automate manual tasks, appreciation for large-scale distributed computing systems, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively are necessary to succeed in this role.

Required Skills:

  • 1+ year (Analyst) / 3+ years (Associate) of relevant work experience in a technical role such as software engineering, site reliability engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Strong aptitude for algorithms, data structures, and software design.
  • Experience with Linux operating system internals and/or networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to quickly identify the scope and impact of issues during high-pressure situations.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with distributed systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge in one of the following: SQL, Python, C, C++, Java, or shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with debugging and optimizing code, as well as automation.
  • Knowledge of financial markets.
  • FIX protocol knowledge.
