**About the opportunity**

At Woolworths, we believe in putting our customers and team first. The Risk Lead role sits within 'Partnering' in the Group Risk Platform.

The role will contribute to the delivery of the Group Enablement teams' strategy and the Group Risk ambition to guide teams to make risk-informed choices with confidence and help them focus on what matters most. They will do this by shaping the Group Enablement teams' decisions to achieve commercial outcomes in line with risk appetite, leveraging Group tools and frameworks.

The Risk Lead partners with the Group Enablement's Senior Leadership Team to understand risks and opportunities and provide them with reliable risk insight to drive value generating decisions. It is the first point of contact for the business into the Group's Risk platform.

**What you'll do**

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities include:

- Partnering with the Group Enablement Team in a 'line 2' role to deliver the Risk Management strategy, embed a risk culture, enable business objectives to be achieved within risk appetite, and enable the organisation to operate in a safe and sustainable manner
- Operating with an end to end Group-wide lens, considering the potential impact of actions at the Group Enablement level on the plans and strategies of other teams
- Actively Partner with business leaders in strategic planning activities focusing on integrating risk management
- Constructively challenging the business on key risks and control activities, with the aim of supporting the development of commercial and practical risk solutions, which enhance business processes.Influencing appropriate risk management prioritisation to enable operations to meet strategic objectives

**What you'll bring**

You will have:

- Strong understanding of the key technology risks that need to be managed including supplier risk management and how suppliers contribute to an organisation's risk profile.
- Ability to identify and assess critical controls that mitigate key technology risks mainly enterprise IT and systems related risks
- Previous experience in implementing frameworks/standards such as CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI DSS etc.
- Previous experience in supporting technology risk reporting to Executive Committees, Board Committees and other governing bodies.Demonstrated ability to build relations and influence senior stakeholders to achieve risk outcomes
