Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated support worker to assist our client, a 13-year-old male with cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays.

He communicates through gestures and a communication book.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience in providing supports with nonverbal communication techniques, personal care, PEG feeding, and seizure management.

The role involves working with our client on weekdays (afternoon shift) and some weekends, with potential additional coverage during school holidays.

You will need to be available for ongoing support three days per week and occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts.

Mandatory Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • A NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Two work-related references
  • Work rights with no restrictions
