
Cancer Care Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a specialised and supportive environment, working with patients undergoing complex cancer treatments and haematological therapies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent nursing skills, strong organisational abilities and effective communication skills. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing haematology/oncology treatment.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Provide person-centred, family-inclusive and culturally sensitive care.
- Organise and prioritise workload effectively.
- Contribute to professional development and continuous learning.
- Be flexible and work across a roster including day, evening or night shifts on all days of the week.
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
- Demonstrated experience in a relevant setting (including recent graduates).
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work across a roster including all shifts.
