System Support Specialist

This position is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities. As a System Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of business systems related to asset maintenance.

The successful candidate will have experience working in an IT support role or equivalent, with knowledge and understanding of current practices in database administration. They will possess high attention to detail, be able to work independently as well as within a team, and have flexibility and availability to travel locally and regionally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support for the implementation and use of business systems and processes
  • Overseeing operational support for key platforms such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, HOMES, Ariba and Service Now
  • Identifying and assessing risks associated with system implementation and operational activities
  • Providing informed recommendations for mitigation strategies to reduce potential impacts

As part of this role, you will also be responsible for generating innovative solutions in response to differing levels of risks and problem complexities, while aligning with business timelines and priorities.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high quality, accurate service and support to a range of stakeholder levels. They will have experience managing issues with tailored solutions and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of system issues and outcomes.

Requirements
