Logistics Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for delivering operational excellence in logistics operations. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with experience in logistics, supply chain management, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics systems, tools, and processes. They will be able to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve logistics performance and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing third-party logistics providers to optimize operations and improve relationships.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and performance.
  • Training and upskilling logistics coordinators on logistics tools and systems.
  • Reconciling freight and warehousing invoices and managing financial processes.
  • Leading regular meetings with stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and drive operational alignment.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • University degree qualified in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain, or business.
  • Experience in logistics operations, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or high-volume supply chain environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and manage relationships.
  • Process-oriented and detail-driven, with a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
