Insurance Operations Specialist
- We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as an Insurance Operations Specialist. This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency and improving member outcomes.
- This position requires a dedicated individual to transition our operations to a digital-first future state model.
- Optimise insurance operations processes to drive efficiency and improve member outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance to colleagues and partners on insurance product administration and business rule adherence.
- Oversee the resolution of insurance incidents and support management in day-to-day insurance activities.
- Collaborate with partners to implement changes to business rules and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in life insurance (Group or Retail) at an insurer, administrator, or superannuation Trustee with demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of group insurance, including death cover, income protection, and TPD.
- Experience with incidents, transitions, or SFT, and corporate-sponsored super plans.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and interacting with senior leaders.
- Willingness to challenge and question the status quo.
- Understanding of the latest insurance standards, legislation, and regulations.
- Change management experience.
- Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration experience.
- Proven track record in operationalising insurance product and legislative changes.
