HSE Construction Manager

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled HSE Construction Manager to lead our Australian and New Zealand projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HSE representatives throughout our projects, ensuring that all onshore construction projects meet the highest HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects HSE management in ANZ, implementing the APAC construction tactical plan.
  • Lead the ANZ HSE team, establishing safety policies, procedures, and plans to ensure worker safety.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to execute, monitor, and improve safety in construction projects.
  • Develop and implement training policies, requirements, and standards.
  • Ensure the execution of emergency plans and safety work management plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HSE or engineering, or similar curriculum compliant with local legal requirements.
  • Minimum of 8 years of management experience, preferably on a leadership level.

Competencies:

  • Expertise in hazard job site assessment, risk assessments, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in contractor/subcontractor HSE management.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Good leadership skills in leading the team.
