About the Role

Vestas is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Construction HSE APAC to lead our specialized team in providing a robust HSE system to support the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HSE risk, improving safety culture, and developing and maintaining local construction HSE management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of regionally-based HSE managers to support the delivery of construction contracts.
  • Develop and implement targeted injury reduction programs.
  • Support the delivery of global and regional tactical plan initiatives.
  • Assist in HSEMS implementation, assurance, monitoring, and incident management.
Requirements
  • Diploma in WHS/OHS/E or higher.
  • 10+ years in a relevant technical/operational background.
  • Experience across Asia Pacific preferred; ANZ construction experience is a must.
  • Lead Auditor and TapRoot or ICAM Investigation Lead certification.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Above medium level Microsoft Office skills, notably Excel.
  • A passion for HSE and providing a safe environment.
