Job Summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Construction HSE APAC to join our specialized team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE management and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate visible HSE leadership and coach and support the APAC Construction business to cultivate a mature, risk-based HSE culture.
• Lead a team of regionally-based HSE Managers to directly support the delivery of Construction contracts through implementation of the Vestas HSE Management System.
• Support internal and external stakeholders to manage HSE risk and improve Safety Culture.
• Develop and maintain the local construction HSE Management Systems in alignment with Global and regional HSE standards and to comply with local legislative requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma WHS/OHS/E or higher.
• 10+ years in relevant technical/operational background.
• Experience across Asia Pacific preferred, ANZ Construction experience as a minimum is a must.
• Competencies Lead Auditor and Tap Root or ICAM Investigation Lead.
• Stakeholder management skills and an ability to build relationship growth.
• Microsoft office skills of above medium level or higher, notably Excel.
• A passion for HSE and providing a safe environment for all, especially leading from the front lines.
