Job Summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Head of Construction HSE APAC to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a HSE system to support the business and ensure effective management of HSE and improvement of HSE culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate visible HSE leadership and coach and support the APAC Construction business
  • Collaborate across other Lines of Business (LoBs) to cultivate a mature, risk-based HSE culture and deliver a smooth client experience
  • Lead a team of regionally-based HSE Managers to support the delivery of Construction contracts
  • Support internal and external stakeholders to manage HSE risk and improve Safety Culture
  • Develop and maintain the local construction HSE Management Systems in alignment with Global and regional HSE standards
Requirements
  • Diploma WHS/OHS/E or higher
  • 10+ years in relevant technical/operational background
  • Experience across Asia Pacific preferred, ANZ Construction experience as a minimum is a must
  • Lead Auditor and Tap Root or ICAM Investigation
  • Stakeholder management skills and an ability to build relationship growth
