Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus generous salary packaging benefits. We also offer a range of other benefits, including paid parental leave, flexible working hours, and training and skills development opportunities.


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Calvary Clinic. The successful candidate will work closely with our nursing and medical staff to provide high-quality social work services to our patients.


Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver outpatient day therapy group programs to patients with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement inpatient therapy programs to support patient recovery
  • Provide therapeutic support to Calvary Clinic staff, including education and in-service training

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mental health social work experience, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Therapeutic group skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • A sound understanding of mental illness and recovery frameworks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
