As a General Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of work-related injuries, stress, pain management, and other occupational issues.

We are seeking skilled professionals who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services, including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and Medicare clients in Launceston TAS.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers, and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;
  • Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • General Psychologist Registered with AHPRA; or
  • Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – AASW;
  • Willingness to obtain NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) accreditation;
  • Permanent residency in Australia;
  • Possess a strong passion for improving lives through work and health;
