Clinical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Calvary Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing social work services across Palliative care, Medical and surgical ward areas.
Key Duties:
- Psihosocial assessment and provision of social work interventions, including counselling, discharge planning, case management, advance care planning, assistance with financial and accommodation issues, referrals to community agencies, carer support, family violence risk assessments and guardianship.
- Development and delivery of out-patient day therapy group programs.
- Opportunity for development of inpatient therapy programs.
- Mental health social worker or equivalent with eligibility for AASW registration.
- Therapeutic group skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- A sound understanding of mental illness and recovery framework.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
